Also, yes your scent changes at a level humans are not able to detect. Ever wonder why a dog knows you’re afraid of him? Now imagine you’re aggressive, or hiding, or afraid. Most criminals are all of these emotions and then some. This makes you an easy target for the dog and also a serious threat. The dog can read this and will react in a nasty manner. The dog also knows the handler has his back and will assist in the apprehension. Hence the term ‘K-9 Team’.

oui, c’est très bien d’apprendre aux chiens de déffendre,mais faut aussi qu’il apprenne à lacher quand son maître le lui ordonne et de plus il se retourne contre lui!!!. Heureusement que je n’ai pas écouté les gens qui mon dit d’en faire avec le mien.Pour moi se n’est plus déffendre,mais c’esr aimé mordre…Je pense que c’est vraiment dangereux.Mais bon si c’est bien travaillé après avoir attrapé son maître,chacun a sa vision de travail!!

@ Grimmin1–It is a common fact, at least to the educated, the scent of a human changes during different stages of emotion. Anger,sadness,fear, etc all create a scent your body produces via the apocrine glands. A dog’s nose is millions of times greater than a human’s and as such a dog can detect the changes in human emotion. have u even watched real suspects attacked by dogs?? They do NOT fight back, they scream and plead w/ the cops to take the dog off of them. Talk w/ any cop and they’ll tell u that criminals are scared to death of the dogs. Only the most hardcore psychopath wouldn’t be scared and try to fight the dog. 95% of people will run and drop whatever weapon they may have b/c the dog’s tear the shit outta them.
